I think I loved you all my life,
All along those years.
I dreamed of you to be my wife,
But all I got was tears.
Now that we've grown old, my fate,
And walk the last road down the line,
Thinking about the faults we made,
I finally hold your hand in mine.
You seemed like an angel sent from above,
The day when I first saw you.
And you're still this angel, my love,
Like a melody - so wonderful and true.
I made a living out of loving you,
Though we've never been together,
Though I was never free for you
And took the easy way, rather than the better.
My fate, on this last road, we will never part,
We will walk together - like we should have from the start.
